If your WLAN with MacOS Sierra is slow or does not work at all, you can quickly solve this problem yourself with just a few simple steps. We'll show you what to do.
WLAN does not work or is slow under MacOS Sierra - what to do?
- First open the Finder and click on "Go" at the top. Alternatively, you can also press [Cmd] + [Shift] + [G].
- Change there to the folder "/ Library / Preferences / SystemConfiguration /".
- Delete the respective files so that the Internet profiles are reset: "com.apple.airport.preferences.plist", "com.apple.network.identification.plist", "com.apple.wifi.message-tracer.plist", "NetworkInterfaces.plist" & "preferences.plist".
- Then restart your Mac so that you can then successfully connect to a WiFi network.

- You can also try to delete all proxy settings in "System Settings"> "Network"> "Advanced" under "Proxy". To do this, remove all hooks. Save with "OK".
- In some cases, the Bluetooth ensures that there are problems with the WLAN. So turn it off.
- It can often help if you disconnect the router from the power supply for around 10 seconds and then try again.
- An update for the firmware of your router may also be available. You can check this in the router.
