MacOS: Read websites offline in Safari - how it works
With MacOS you can save and read websites offline in your Safari browser. Our guide shows you how to do it.
Read websites offline in Safari
- Open the web pages you want to save in Safari. Of course, you still need an existing internet connection.
- Now click on "Bookmarks"> "Add to Reading List" in the menu bar. You can also perform this action more quickly with the key combination [Shift] + [CMD] + [D]. Note that there is a difference between "Add Bookmark" and "Add to Reading List".
- The Safari browser then saves the website in your reading list. You can also access these without an internet connection. Simply click on "Bookmarks"> "Show Bookmarks" in the menu bar and click on the "Reading List" tab in the column that appears.
- In this you will find all saved websites and can also open them offline.
