MacOS X: Save mail attachments
You can also save your mail attachments in MacOS X. We show you how to do this.
Save mail attachments in MacOS X
You can back up your email attachments in several ways:
- You can see a preview of an email in the mail program. Move your mouse over the "address-content dividing line" in the email. The mouse symbol becomes one hand and various icons appear in the middle. Click here on the attachment symbol. You can either save all or just save a specific attachment file.
- Alternatively, you can mark the corresponding email in the mail program and select the "Save attachments" entry in the "File" menu. Save the files via "Save".
- You can also download the attachment directly in the e-mail: To do this, right-click on the files and select "Save attachment".
So that nobody intercepts your mail, you should activate SSL encryption in Apple Mail.
