In addition to numerous video effects, you can also create a picture-in-picture effect in Magix Video Deluxe. This effect makes your video look even more dynamic and professional. To do this, proceed as follows:
- Start the "Magix Video Deluxe" and open a new project.
- Import the desired video into the first track of the timeline.
- Then click on "Design Elements" under "Effects" and then select the "Picture-in-Picture" option (see screenshot).
- Pick a template and drag it onto your inserted video in the timeline. Your video will automatically be adapted to the template. You can use the video preview to track the position of your video. Go to the "back arrow" directly above the timeline if the template does not meet your expectations.
- Import another video into the timeline. Paste it into the second track of the timeline. The picture-in-picture effect is ready.
- Alternatively, you can have your videos displayed side by side without overlaps or overlaps. Simply assign your first video with the template "2/1 left" and your second video with the template "2/1 right" (see picture). Now your first video is shown on the left and your second video on the right independently. This video setting is particularly useful for different camera perspectives.
