Magix Video Deluxe: Create SinCity effect - so it'll work
In this practical tip, we will show you how to create a SinCity effect with "Magix Video Deluxe".
How to create a SinCity effect with Magix Video Deluxe
With the SinCity effect, your video or photo is decolored and only one motif is highlighted in color. To create this effect in Magix Video Deluxe, do the following:
- Start the video editing program "Magix Video Deluxe" and open a new project.
- Import the video sequence into the timeline, which you then want to edit with the SinCity effect.
- Select your video in the timeline and select the "Color Correction" option under the "Effects"> "Video Effects" editing option (see image).
- Now change the setting in the foreground selection mode to "Add" and in the layer to "Background".
- Use the dropper in the video preview to click on the desired motif that you want to highlight in color. The marked area is shown in dashed lines. Use the eyedropper to work on your object until all the colors have been fully highlighted. You can undo any incorrect markings with the "Reset selection" command.
- Set the "Saturation" to 0 percent after you have marked your area. Your video is finished with the SinCity effect. If you tick the "Foreground" function in "Layer", you can use the color palette to change the color of the marked area individually.
