Mailbox is answered immediately - it could be because of that

If the mailbox is answered immediately, this is mostly due to incorrectly configured call forwarding. We'll show you how to fix the problem.
Mailbox answers immediately: Deactivate call forwarding
First, make sure that your cell phone is receiving. Try calling someone to do this. If that doesn't work, we'll show you in a separate article what you can do if you don't have a reception.
- The problem may be caused by incorrectly set up call forwarding.
- You can deactivate call forwarding by entering the string ## 002 # and calling (see screenshot).
- In the next paragraph, you will find out how to set the time until the mailbox starts after switching off call diversions.
Set the call time to the mailbox
To set the call time to the mailbox, enter one of the following key combinations on your mobile phone depending on the provider and select it. The last two digits, here "XX", stand for the time until the mailbox starts. You can choose between the following times: 05, 10, 15, 20, 25, or 30 seconds.
- O2: ** 61 * 333 ** XX #
- Telekom: ** 61 * 3311 * 11 * XX #
- Vodafone: ** 61 * 5500 * 11 * XX #
- AldiTalk: ** 61 * 9911 ** XX #
Mailbox: More tips
- Features such as "do not disturb" on iPhone or Android devices may suppress calls. The mailbox then immediately opens.
- Check whether the do not disturb function is activated on your iPhone or Android device and deactivate the feature.
- If you use several SIM cards with one phone number, you should switch off the do not disturb function on all devices. The devices may influence each other.
