Insert drawing marks in Word - how it works
The mark is rarely needed in Word. But when the time comes, the big search begins. Here's how to quickly and easily insert a mark in your Word document.
Microsoft Word - how to insert the mark
If you want or need to integrate a mathematical operation into your Word document, you have various options for adding the mark.
- In addition to the classic point, the small letter "x" is also often used as a sign for the paint point. The asterisk "*" is also sometimes used.
- You will not find the mark on the keyboard, but in Word it is still no problem to insert the multiplication symbol. To add the special character to your Word document, first go to the "Insert" tab.
- In the ribbon, go to the far right in the "Symbols" area. There you go to "Symbol". If you need complex mathematical formulas, you will also find them in the "Symbols" area.
- To avoid having to search through all special characters in the Symbols menu, select "General punctuation" under Subset.
- After you find the mark, click on it. To make it appear on your Word document, tap the "Paste" button.
If you want to convert your Word document into a PDF document, there are also various options available.
