Playing Mario Kart on PC - is that possible?
Mario Kart is one of the most popular party games for young and old. This practical tip explains whether you can also enjoy the racing game on a PC.
Mario Kart: The fun racer for the PC?
- So far, the game is unfortunately only available for Nintendo devices. A PC version is therefore not to be expected.
- As an alternative, you can even play SuperTuxKart on your PC for free.
- A paid and noteworthy alternative is also Sonic & All-Stars Racing.
Using an emulator: playing Mario Kart on PC - is that possible?
- Basically, you can play Mario Kart using an emulator on the PC. To do this, however, you must already have a Wii and the game.
- A legal private copy of the game can be made through the Wii's homebrew channel, which you can play on the Dolphin emulator.
- Note: Please note that the game is not necessarily displayed on the emulator without any problems. In addition, your console's warranty may expire if you use the Homebrew Channel.
- We therefore recommend that you play the game on the Wii. An emulator is not a reliable alternative.
