Mass Effect Andromeda is one of the top games of 2017. As befits a blockbuster title, the system requirements of the new Mass Effect part are at the upper limit. All information on the minimum and recommended hardware requirements can be found in our overview.
Mass Effect Andromeda: minimal system requirements
Mass Effect Andromeda has been gaming since March 23. Even with the lowest graphics settings, the game is damn resource-hungry, as the minimal system requirements show.
- System: Mass Effect Andromeda only runs on Windows 7, 8.1 and 10 in the 64-bit version.
- Processor: As a CPU you need at least an Intel Core i5 3570 or an AMD FX-6350.
- RAM: At least 8 GB of RAM are a basic requirement for the game.
- Graphics card: Developer EA recommends at least an NVIDIA GTX 660 or an AMD Radeon 7850. Other graphics cards with at least 2 GB VRAM should also be sufficient. It is important to support DirectX 11.
- Storage space: Mass Effect Andromeda will need around 55 GB.
Mass Effect Andromeda: Recommended system requirements
If you want to enjoy the full graphics splendor of the new Mass Effect, you have to put even more money into the latest hardware.
- Processor: EA recommends an Intel Core i7-4790 or an AMD FX-8350 for gaming.
- RAM: For the best gaming experience, you should have 16 GB of RAM.
- Graphics card: The performance hunger from Mass Effect Andromeda will probably only be able to satisfy an NVIDIA GTX 1060 with 3GByte or an AMD RX 480 with 4GByte VRAM.
