Mouse jerky - you can do that
The mouse is one of the most important input devices on the PC. If it jerks, this can be a problem in the long run. The reason for this can be, for example, a defective USB port or a dirty sensor. Below we tell you what you can do about it.
Mouse jerky on PC - what to do?
Here's what you can do if your mouse suddenly jerks:
- With a cordless mouse, you should make sure that the receiver is close enough to the mouse.
- In the best case, insert the mouse receiver into the front USB ports of your PC.
- You should also ensure that the cordless mouse has enough batteries. Replace them if you are not sure.
- Also take a look under the mouse. The sensitive sensor may be dirty, which is why jerky movements occur.
- Perhaps the USB port used is also defective. Therefore use a different connection on your PC.
Other solutions: mouse jerky
- In many cases it can help if you remove the mouse from the PC and plug it in again after a short wait.
- Windows then automatically installs the necessary driver.
- It is also important that you use a mouse pad or the like as a base. Without a pad, the movements of the mouse may not be able to be transferred correctly.
