You have to pay tolls for highways and expressways in Slovenia. In this practical tip, we explain which vignette you need to buy.
General information about the toll in Slovenia so that you can buy the right vignette
There are three classes for vignettes, which we will explain in more detail below.
- It is advisable to buy the vignette at the border stations before starting your journey and then to affix it correctly.
- For cars, stick the vignette in the middle of the top of the windscreen. In the case of motorcycles, the vignette must be glued to the tank or the suspension fork so that it is clearly visible.
- Cars and motorcycles are assigned to different classes. Vehicles over 3.5 tons are billed separately depending on the route.
