Search multiple text files for keywords
- Open an Explorer window on your PC. To do this, right-click on the Start button and select the entry "Open Windows Explorer".
- Navigate to the folder you want to search for the text files. Windows also considers subfolders when searching.
- Press the [F3] key to switch to the search bar. Enter your keyword there. If you want to search for several keywords at the same time, simply separate them with commas. Start the search with [Enter].
- If you want to search in different folders, you can select it in the next window: To do this, click on "Search again in:"> "Custom" under the search results. Then select the folders to be searched and start the process again. Windows automatically searches the contents of all text files.
