Microsoft Edge: create notes on a website - so it'll work
In this practical tip, we explain how to use the Microsoft Edge browser to create notes on websites. You can take notes in Edge freehand or by typing. You save this in OneNote or in the favorites of the browser.
Create notes on a website in the Edge browser - this is how you proceed
- Open the Edge browser.
- Navigate to the website where you want to add a note.
- Click the "Paper and Pen" icon in the upper right corner to the left of the "Share" icon.
- At the top left you can choose whether you want to add the note with a pen or a highlighter.
- You can then also erase and correct the note using the "Eraser" symbol to the right of it.
- Click the "Speech Bubble" icon if you want to add a typed note.
- Finally click on the "floppy disk" icon on the right to save. You can choose to save it in "OneNote", in "Favorites" or in the "Reading List".
- Click on "Exit" to exit the edit mode.
