A bookshelf not only looks chic in Minecraft, you also need it if you want to enchant your items. In this article, we reveal how you can craft the special blocks.

Crafting: Make a bookcase in Minecraft

In order for your enchantment table to work and you can enchant items in Minecraft, you need to put up some bookshelves nearby. You can craft them yourself with some utensils:

• For a bookshelf you need six blocks of wood and three books. With the latter you fill the middle row of a crafting table. Then place the wood in all other free spaces.
• You create wooden blocks from trunks that you can break down from trees. Simply place a log in a crafting table to get four blocks of wood.
