Minecraft: craft picture - how it works

So that the walls of your Minecraft house don't look too bare, you can craft pictures and paintings. We show you which blocks you need and how you can hang the picture on the wall.

Crafting tip: Make pictures and paintings in Minecraft

Minecraft has 26 different paintings in different sizes. If you craft a picture, you can hang it on any wall. The motif is chosen at random; if you don't like it, you can dismantle the painting and hang it up again.

• For a painting you need eight wooden poles and a wool block. You get the latter from sheep by killing them or cutting off the wool with scissors. The color of the block does not matter.
• The wooden sticks are created when you place two wooden blocks on top of each other in a crafting table. You will receive four sticks each.
• There is no limit to the number of your pictures. You can even import your own paintings into Minecraft.
