With the command line you can use cheats in Minecraft's single player mode. You can easily conjure up rare blocks such as diamonds. Read here how it works.
Open Minecraft command line
You can only cheat in the singleplayer worlds of Minecraft if you have allowed cheats when creating the map. You can then open the command lines and start cheating.
- Start the game Minecraft in single player mode and then select "Create new world".
- Click the "More World Options" button and set "Allow Cheats" to "On".
- Adjust all other settings as you like and confirm with "Create new world".
- In the created world, you can open the command line / chat with the "T" key. Here you insert the commands listed below and confirm them with the Enter key.
List of Minecraft cheats
In order to execute the cheats, you need to know the associated commands. We have compiled a list for you here. Note that you have put a slash "/" before each command. With the tab key you can switch through available commands. You always have to replace information in "" with the English name. In most cases, you can leave the "Player Name" field blank and the game will automatically select you.
