Minecraft: get golden apple - how it works
A golden apple almost completely fills your life and hunger indicator in Minecraft. In this article we will tell you where you get the practical item and how you can even make it yourself.
Get Golden Apple in Minecraft
Eat a golden apple, your hunger bar in Minecraft fills up by four points. In addition, four health points are restored and you are given four extra lives for two minutes. This makes the gold apple perfect as a snack before a difficult fight.
- With a little luck, you will find the golden apple in a chest in dungeons or fortresses. However, the probability is very low: in dungeons, apples are only in 7.2 percent and in fortresses only 2.5 percent of the cases are in the chests.
- But don't worry: you can also craft the golden apples yourself. To do this, place a normal apple in the middle of a crafting table and fill up the remaining fields with gold bars (see screenshot).
- Normal apples fall from trees after you have completely broken down the trunk. You get the gold bars from gold ore as soon as you melt it with coal in the oven.
Minecraft: Create enchanted golden apple
The enchanted golden apple gives you even more power. It also adds four additional lives to your health display for two minutes and fills up four points on the hunger track. It also heals you continuously for 30 seconds. It also protects you from fire for five minutes and reduces all damage by 20 percent. You are practically invulnerable during this time.
- You will not find the enchanted gold apple in dungeons or in fortresses. You can only make the item yourself:
- To do this, place an apple in the middle of a crafting table and fill up all other fields with gold blocks (see picture).
- A gold block consists of nine gold bars each. So if you fill a crafting table with gold bars, you will receive one of the required blocks. In the end, you need 80 gold bars for the enchanted apple.
