Minecraft: Find and craft Netherstern - how it works
Who doesn't know them, the beautiful, almost infinitely high beacons in Minecraft. The nether star is indispensable for the production of these. This practical tip shows you how to get this item and how to craft the beacons
Minecraft: Obtain Nether Stars
- Netherstars are the hearts of the wither and drop after you defeat these monsters.
- Because Wither doesn't naturally spawn, you have to create it yourself. You can do this by placing 4 blocks of soul sand horizontally in a T-shape and placing 3 witherskeleton skulls on them.
- You can mine soul sand in the nether like sand. For the witherskeleton skulls you have to destroy witherskeletons. It is very unlikely that such a skull will drop.
Minecraft: crafting beacons
- If you have successfully captured the Nether Star, you can now start producing the beacon.
- Open the workbench. Put the nether star right in the middle. In the bottom row you have to place 3 obsidian and fill the rest with 5 glass blocks. The beacon is ready.
- To make it glow, you need to build a pyramid under the beacon. Iron, gold, diamond and emerald blocks can be used for this.
- Now the object brings you another benefit: Depending on the height of the pyramid, you can choose between the effects regeneration, speed, haste, resistance, bounce and strength.
- Note: To get the effect, the light must reach the sky and not be interrupted. When activating the effect, you must also use one of these metal blocks mentioned above.
