Minecraft: craft Piston - so it'll work
With Pistons you can move other blocks in Minecraft and build complicated constructions and machines. In this article we will tell you how to craft the items.
Crafting Instructions: Make Piston in Minecraft
You can place normal pistons anywhere in Minecraft and then retract or extend them with redstone and switches. This is how you move the blocks on the pistons in the respective direction. You need four fabrics for the item:
- Pebble: You have to use a total of four blocks of quarry stone per piston. You can get the stone blocks by mining a normal stone block with a pickaxe.
- Wooden boards: In addition to the stones, you need three wooden boards each. To do this, first remove the trunk of a tree and then place the wood in a crafting table. You get four wooden boards per wood block.
- Iron: You cannot build pistons without an iron bar. You get the metal from blocks of iron ore, which you melt in the furnace with coal.
- Redstone: Finally, you need a piece of redstone. We will tell you in another article how you can find precious ore the fastest.
- Instructions: Fill the top row of a crafting table with wooden boards. Place the stones in the side rows. Then place an iron bar in the middle and a redstone underneath.
Make sticky pistons in Minecraft
When you retract normal pistons, the moved blocks remain in their positions. On the other hand, if you want to get everything back, you have to craft a sticky piston. The coming blocks stick to this and go back with you when you retract the piston.
- For a sticky plunger, place a plunger in the middle of the crafting table and place a slime ball over it.
- You get the slime ball from the square slime monsters in caves. Defeat the mobs, drop several balls.
