Minecraft: craft armor - how it works
If you craft armor in Minecraft, you are well protected against any monster attack. We'll tell you all the armor crafting recipes and what fabrics you can best defend yourself with.
Craft armor in Minecraft - there are these parts
Armor in Minecraft consists of four parts: shoes, pants, tanks and a helmet. All parts protect you from attacks by other players or monsters, explosions as well as fire and lava.
- Each piece of armor offers you certain protection. This is indicated with the armor symbols next to your health ad.
- Each full armor point reduces damage received by 8 percent. You can get a maximum of ten armor points, which reduces the damage to 80 percent.
- To put on your armor, open your inventory with [E] and place the individual parts in the appropriate fields next to your character.
- The crafting recipes for the individual parts can be found in the following paragraphs.
Minecraft armor: crafting shoes
- For shoes you need four times leather, iron, gold or diamonds. Place an element in the lower right and left corner of a crafting table and place one element above each.
- Leather or gold shoes increase your armor by half a symbol. Iron shoes, on the other hand, fill an armor symbol and diamond shoes fill 1.5 armor symbols.
Minecraft armor: craft pants
- For a pair of pants you need seven units of the respective fabric. Place them at the edge of the crafting table, leaving the lower middle field empty.
- Leather pants fill an armor symbol, gold pants 1.5 symbols, iron pants 2.5 symbols and diamond pants even three armor symbols.
Minecraft armor: craft breastplate
- For a breastplate you need a total of eight units of the respective fabric. Use it to fill the entire crafting table except for the field at the top center.
- The leather breastplate creates 1.5 armor symbols, the gold 2.5 symbols and the iron three symbols. If you use diamonds to craft, four armor symbols are filled.
Minecraft armor: craft helmet
- With the helmet you complete your Minecraft armor. For this you need five units of leather, gold, iron or diamonds. This will fill the middle row of the crafting table as well as the lower right and left corners.
- A leather helmet fills half an armor symbol, a gold and iron helmet each an entire symbol and one diamond 1.5 symbols.
