Minecraft is currently one of the most popular games ever. However, if the game does not start, this may be due to outdated drivers. Below you can read what you can do about it.

With these tips you can get Minecraft up and running again:
- First, make sure that you have installed the latest driver for your graphics card. You can check this either with Windows Update or on the manufacturer's website.
- At the same time, you have to make sure that Microsoft DirectX is up to date. This can also be checked with Windows Update.
- For Minecraft you also need the current Java version on your PC.
- In general, you should make sure that your computer meets the system requirements for Minecraft.
- The game may also be blocked by the firewall or the antivirus. Therefore, switch off both services briefly.
- If this is the case, we will explain how you can add an exception to your firewall and allow the program to work with your antivirus scanner.
Other solutions: Minecraft won't start
- In many cases it can help if you delete Minecraft's bin folder. To do this, press the key combination [Windows] + [R].
- Type% appdata% in the box, and then open the Minecraft folder. There you delete the "bin" subfolder and then restart your PC.
- You can also try allocating more RAM to Minecraft.
