Minecraft: copy world - how it works
If you want to experiment in your Minecraft world, you should make a backup. This practical tip shows you how to copy your world.
Minecraft: Make a copy of a world
- Press the key combination [Windows key] + [R] and type the command "% appdata%" in the Run line.
- Open the search result of the same name and in it the folder "Roaming"> ".minecraft"> "saves".
- Right-click on your world there and select "Copy".
- Then press [Ctrl] + [V] to paste the copy in the same folder.
- If you now start Minecraft, there is a copy in the world selection.
