Minecraft: Heal zombie villagers - how it works
If a Zombie attacks NPCs in Minecraft, they can turn into a Zombie villager. But you can cure them and thus turn them back into normal villagers with whom you can trade. You can find out how to do this in this practical tip.
Minecraft: Heal zombie villagers - how it works
Every Minecraft villager who has turned into a zombie can be healed with two items. To do this, first apply him with a Throwing Potion of Weakness and then right-click to give him a golden apple. Then a hiss sounds and the villager slowly turns back. How to make the two necessary items (you can also find the respective recipes in our picture gallery):
- Throwing Potion of Weakness: Like any potion, you create it at a brewing booth. You can get this by filling the bottom row of a crafting table with three quarry stones and placing a wedge rod in the middle. Place a glass bottle in the bottom of the brewing station, Lohen dust at the top left and in the individual field at the top first black powder and then a fermented spider eye. You will then receive an ineffective potion and then the weakness potion.
- Golden apple: Place a normal apple in the middle of a crafting table and fill the remaining fields with gold bars.
Minecraft: Accelerate villager healing
- As soon as you give the apple to the zombie villager, the transformation begins. However, this takes a few minutes.
- If you want to speed up the process, you should set up beds and iron bars near the villager (within a radius of nine blocks). In total, up to 14 beds or grids are taken into account, which shorten the transformation by a few seconds each. The matching recipes for the two items can also be found in our picture gallery.
When the villager is healed again, you can swap with him normally. The most important tips for trading in Minecraft can be found on the next page.
