If the images on your monitor are not really sharp or color is missing, you should calibrate the monitor. We show you how this works in this practical tip.
Calibrate monitor: How to adjust your screen
- First, make sure the screen is clean and free of streaks. We recommend that you perform the calibration in a darkened room.
- Press the "Menu" button on the monitor and look for the entry "Reset to factory settings". Confirm this process.
- Then switch to the menu again. Set the color temperature to 6500 Kelvin and set the gamma to 2.2.
- Alternatively, you can also perform the calibration on the computer. To do this, press [Windows] + [R] and enter "dccw". Confirm with [Enter].
- Then follow the on-screen instructions to calibrate the monitor.
