Monitor not completely filled - it may be because of it
If your monitor is not completely filled despite the maximum resolution, we will show you why.
Monitor not filled in completely - you can do that
- Install the latest drivers for your graphics card. You can select the correct download on this overview page. If your monitor needs separate drivers, install them too. Then restart your computer.
- In the display settings, select the maximum possible resolution for your monitor.
- Open your graphics card settings and look for the "Scaling Options". Depending on the manufacturer, you can also find these under the term "overscan" and in the CCC under the menu item "My digital flat screens". Move the slider so that the picture fills your monitor completely. Usually the scaling should be set to zero percent.
- Also, make sure that the image is centered and doesn't appear shifted, otherwise parts of the display may be cut off. You can usually find functions for moving the screen via the monitor menu. However, you should only change these settings if the image is not displayed centered.
You can also set up a second monitor on your PC.
