Motorola Moto Z: Which SIM card do I need?
To be able to surf and make phone calls with the Motorola Moto Z, you need the correct SIM card. In this practical tip, we will tell you which SIM card size you need and how you can continue to use other SIM cards.
Motorola Moto Z: Which SIM card do I need?
Despite many features, the Motorola Moto Z is a real battery monster in our test. To be able to use the mobile phone completely, you must insert a nano SIM. This is currently the smallest SIM card format.
- You can order the nano-SIM from your mobile network provider, such as Congstar, O2, ALDI Talk and Fyve. However, the new SIM card can cost up to 10 euros.
- If your previous SIM card has breaks in the plastic edge, you can simply break out the nano SIM yourself and do not have to contact your provider.
- Alternatively, you can use our Nano SIM template and cut your card yourself. You can also find detailed instructions in our video.
Motorola Moto Z: Insert new SIM card
As with most smartphones, the Moto Z only has a small slot for the nano SIM card. To open it, proceed as follows:
- Hold the phone face down and press the included tool or pin into the small hole on the card holder.
- The holder then pops out and you can insert your nano SIM into it.
- Put the compartment back in, the phone can be started and set up.
If you have any problems with your cell phone, you can contact Motorola customer service. In the next practical tip, we have put together all the contact details for you.
