Mozilla Firefox: Activate and deactivate full screen mode - how it works
With Mozilla Firefox, you can enable or disable full-screen mode for a better view. This is particularly advantageous for small screens in order to be able to surf more comfortably. You can find out how to switch the full screen mode on or off here.
Firefox full screen view in just a few steps
With just a few simple clicks you can view your Firefox browser in full screen. The only difference in the procedure is whether you have displayed the menu bar or not.
- If you have not activated the menu bar, you will see a colored button in the top bar with the inscription "Firefox". Your menu is there. Click on the button and in the drop-down menu on "full screen".
- Once you have displayed the menu bar (file, edit, etc.), proceed as follows: Click on "View" and then on "Full screen".
- Note: In Firefox version 29 you will find the menu item "Full screen" by clicking on the three horizontal bars in the top right.
Deactivate full screen
If you want to get the old view back, move the mouse pointer to the top of the screen. A menu bar appears. There you simply click on the small button next to the X for "close window" (see picture). Then the full screen mode is ended.
Full screen mode even easier with shortcut keys
With the shortcut F11, you can switch the full screen mode on and off even easier and faster.
