Create MP3 CD - Here's how
In order to burn as many songs as possible on a CD, you should create a space-saving MP3 disc. We show you how to burn them in our practical tip.
Create an MP3 CD with "CDBurnerXP"
You can burn an MP3 CD with the free tool "CDBurnerXP":
- To do this, insert a blank CD into your drive after the installation and start the program.
- Select "Data compilation" in the start screen and confirm with "OK".
- Now you can select your MP3 files. The top two windows represent your Explorer. You can browse the folders there. Then drag the songs into the lower window with the mouse and move them to the CD.
- The bottom bar shows you how much storage space your CD still has.
- When you have selected all songs, you can change the order of the songs in the lower window.
- To complete the CD, click on the CD icon with the green tick ("Burn current compilation").
- "CDBurnerXP" then burns your CD as an MP3 disc. Depending on the number of songs, this can take some time.
This manual is based on CDBurnerXP version 4.5.4.4954. We will show you how to make MP3 files louder in the next article.
