In Word you can insert any image material, including screenshots. We'll show you exactly how it works.
Insert your own screenshot in MS Office Word
If you have not yet taken a screenshot, you will find step-by-step instructions in this practical tip.
- If you have just created the screenshot using the key combination [Print] + [Ctrl], you can simply paste it via the clipboard. To do this, use the key combination [Ctrl] + [V].
- If you have already saved the screenshot in a file, you can simply drag the image into Word with the mouse. Alternatively, you will find the "Insert" tab at the top of Word. Here you can insert the screenshot using the "Images" button.
- You can also use the function of the same name to switch to another window and cut out the desired part using the "Screenshot" item. It then appears automatically in Word.
In the next practical tip, we will show you how to insert check boxes in Word.
