MS Office Word: Split rows of a table
To split a row of a table in "MS Office Word", you can either split the table into two parts from a certain position or expand the cells within a row.
- Split table: If you want to split a table into two parts, click in the cell that represents the beginning of the second table. The menu bar is then expanded to include the "Table tools" tab. Go there to the menu item "Layout". In the "Merge" area, click "Split Table".
- Split cell: If you want to expand the cells of a row, do the same as in the first step. Instead of "Split table", select "Split cells". In the next step you select the number of columns and rows. You can also split multiple cells at once.
