In MS Paint you can do the simplest image editing. With the transparent selection you can remove the background of an element. We'll show you how it works.
Make the background transparent in Paint
First of all: With MS Paint you can only make the simplest image edits. If you want to crop an object in a photo, you should use programs such as Photoshop, Gimp or Paint.NET. With MS Paint you can only copy simple elements without a background:
- Open Paint and draw any shape in the empty box.
- In the menu area "Image" click on the arrow under "Selection" and activate the option "Transparent selection".
- Now select the shape and copy it with [Ctrl] + [C].
- You can now insert the element in any image. The white background is transparent.
