Msvcr100.dll missing - what to do?
If the file msvcr100.dll is missing on Windows, some programs no longer function properly or no longer at all. We'll show you how to solve the problem.
The msvcr100.dll file is missing
- Open this link from DLL-Files.com and click on the button "Download ZIP file" at the bottom right.
- Now select a version that is as up-to-date as possible, suitable for your operating system. We show in the video below whether you have a 32- or 64-bit system.
- Open the downloaded ZIP file and unzip the "msvcr100.dll" contained in the folder "C: \ Windwos \ System32" (32-bit) or "C: \ Windows \ SysWOW64" (64-bit).
- Then restart Windows if the error no longer occurs.
- Note: Windows does not recognize the file automatically and plays the error again, start the command prompt (cmd.exe) and register the file with the command "regsvr32 msvcr100.dll".
