Musical.ly: make sounds yourself - how it works
If you want to upload your own sounds to Musical.ly, you can easily make them yourself in just a few simple steps. We'll show you how it's done.
Step 1: download sounds in Musical.ly
There are several ways to create your own sound for Musical.ly. On the one hand, you can download existing sounds and change or add to them.
- To do this, tap on the sound in the bottom right corner of the desired video and then on "Post video". Alternatively, you can also select a sound from the Musical.ly library.
- If you don't want to use Musical.ly sound, you can also insert a song from your mobile phone. With the TubeMate YouTube Downloader you can also download any YouTube videos to your mobile phone on Android smartphones.
- Now record a video to the point where you no longer need the music. The content of the video does not matter, you will record the actual video again later.
- Don't publish the video, just tap "Save private." Then open your profile, select the video and download it to your phone using the menu button.
Step 2: make sounds for Musical.ly yourself
You have now saved a video with the desired sound on your iPhone or Android smartphone. Now you need a second video. To do this, download a second sound or record a video in the camera app in which you yourself can say a text.
- Download the free app InShot for iOS or InShot for Android.
- Here you can now import both videos using the plus button and cut them to the desired length.
- Arrange the two videos in the order you want, then tap "Save" in the top right corner. Make sure the video is no longer than 15 seconds.
- Switch back to the Musical.ly app and select the video from your gallery. Upload the new video only privately.
- Select the video in your profile, tap the sound in the bottom right corner and then tap "Post Video".
- Now you can record the final video to your own sound.
