Delete music from iPhone - how it works
You can delete your music completely or individually from the iPhone. To do this, you simply have to call up the appropriate menu in the settings. Individual tracks can be deleted in the "Music" app. We show you how it works.
iOS 10: delete music from iPhone
If you want to delete all of your music from the iPhone, you can do so directly in the settings. You will then have more storage space for photos and apps.
- First open the "Settings" app on your iPhone.
- Under the "General" category you will find the item "Storage & iCloud usage".
- Touch "Manage Storage" at the top and select the music app from the list.
- You can use the "Edit" option to delete entire artists, albums or individual tracks.
Remove individual tracks and albums from iPhone
You can also delete individual songs and entire albums in the music app:
- Start the music app and switch to the "Media library" at the bottom left.
- Select the desired artist here under "Artist".
- Now hold your finger on an album or song.
- With the option "Remove" or "Delete from library" the music disappears.
