Copying music from iTunes to a USB stick is not a problem, even though Apple has a bad reputation for sealing off its system against others. Read in this practical tip how to proceed in this case.
No problem: iTunes music mobile via USB stick
- Open the Finder and open the folder on the USB stick.
- Open iTunes and scroll to the track (or album) you want to copy to the USB stick. The easiest way to find individual titles is in the title view, which you can find in the top right corner of the iTunes header.
- Hold down the [cmd] key to highlight one or more music files. The titles are then marked in blue.
- With the left mouse button held down, drag the blue marked titles to the folder of the USB stick in the Finder.
- Tip: If the folder on the USB stick only shows a new music file, even though you have copied several, right-click on the folder. Select the "Cleanup" entry from the context menu. Afterwards you will see all copied files individually.
