This practical tip shows you how to conveniently submit a forwarding request online to Deutsche Post.
Submit a forwarding application online to Swiss Post
Open the Swiss Post eFiliale. This will take you to the post office forwarding service.
- First, you determine whether it is a private or a business forwarding request. To do this, mark the corresponding field in the item "Forwarding service"
- Enter the reason for the redirection request. If you are only temporarily absent, select "Temporary absence". Here, the redirection request must last for at least two weeks before you can cancel it. For the other reasons ("move", "death" or "insolvency and care"), the period is six or twelve months.
- Under "Additional Services" you can specify whether parcels or parcels should also be forwarded to you.
- Enter your name, telephone number and email address under "Client".
- In "Previous address" enter the address to which your mail has been delivered.
- Enter the address to be supplied in the "new address" field.
- Finally, click on "Add to Cart" below.
- Depending on the reason and which additional services you have booked, the costs are now displayed. You can pay by credit card, online banking or direct debit.
