Streaming and downloading music on Napster - legal?
The Napster music service became known as a free music exchange that was closed a few years ago by rights representatives from the music industry. The service is now completely legal:
- To be able to listen to and download music from Napster, you must have a subscription.
- You can listen to music with Napster on your PC with the "Napster Music Flatrate". In order to be able to use the service on the go using the app, you need the "Napster Music Flat Rate + Mobile".
- The PC version costs 7.95 euros per month, for mobile listening pleasure under (Android or iOS) you pay 9.95 euros per month.
- If you cancel your subscription, you will no longer be able to access the music - including the one you downloaded.
- Napster is legal. Any recording or converting of the downloaded music files is illegal.
