Nether: The best 3 tips for beginners
The indie survival game Nether is becoming increasingly popular. We show you the 3 best tips for beginners.
Tip 1: Safezones in Nether
There are safezones in Nether. These are areas where monsters don't spawn and have access. You are safe here for the time being, since PvP is also deactivated in this area. You will find shops in the safezones. There you can sell unnecessary loot items and buy weapons or food. There are currently 4 safe zones in the game:
- Lakeside safe zone. This is the central safe zone. It is marked with a large blue house on the map. The anti-monster defense can fail here. As a result, PvP is also reactivated. So you should be careful.
- Outpost Museum. This safe zone is to the right of the lakeside safe zone.
- Riverside Outpost. The Riverside Outpost is in the lower left corner of the map.
- Westview Outpost. You can find this safe zone at the top left.
Tip 2: Find loot in Nether
In survival games like Nether, you can only be successful if you find good "loot". This so-called "loot" is all objects that appear on the map by chance. These include weapons, backpacks, food or medical equipment.
- You will usually find weapons and ammunition in and near military vehicles. There is a high possibility in metro and petrol stations that you will come across food, drink or medical equipment.
Tip 3: set skill points wisely
Nether has a level system based on experience points. You can collect these by killing monsters or selling items. You will receive a "Skill Point" for each level you have ascended.
- First you should put a point in the "Melee" branch (melee). This makes it easier for them to kill monsters.
- Then you should level up several points in the "Survival" branch. The "Strength" branch is also worth a look. If you spend a few points there, you will get 250 bonus lives.
- The other skill points should be adapted to your current needs in the game.
