OS X Mavericks: Troubleshoot network diagnostics
Your Mac can no longer connect to the Internet for different reasons. Under Mavericks you get to the bottom of the problems with network diagnostics:
- Start the "System Settings" in your Dock.
- Then click on the "Network" button.
- A new window is opening up. Press the entry "Assistant ...".
- Select the "Diagnostics" item. Now you can choose between an Ethernet or WiFi connection.
- MacOS now lists all the networks you have set up. Click on the problematic network and select "Allow" to start the network diagnosis.
- If there is a problem, Mavericks displays a few suggested solutions. Now follow the further instructions.
To find the problematic network quickly, you should sort the connections by priority.
