Network card is not recognized - what to do?
- Make sure you have the right driver for your system and card. You can find this for your system on the manufacturer's website. Make sure it is the most current.
- Take a look at "Control Panel"> "Device Manager". If the network card is listed under "Unknown devices", double-click it to search for drivers.
- In order to fix the error, you should activate the network card in the BIOS. To do this, switch to the BIOS and activate the relevant PCI Express interface.
- You should also make sure that the network card is inserted correctly. To do this, disconnect the PC from the power supply and open the housing.
- Check that the network card is properly seated in the PCI Express connector. You can also remove them and carefully remove the dust by blowing. Then reinsert the card until it clicks into place.
