If the error message "Not registered in the network" appears, you should keep calm. These solutions are available for Android users.
Fix unregistered errors on Android - step by step
A network failure can have many causes. Here's what you can do:
- Activate flight mode for approx. 30 seconds and then switch back to normal mode.
- Check whether your mobile phone provider is currently experiencing interference.
- It may also be due to the SIM card. It is best to put them in another device. If your SIM card is fully functional, the cell phone regularly dials into the desired network.
- The problem can also be due to the firmware of your smartphone. You should therefore check whether you are using the current Android version on your device and check your cell phone for updates.
- If this does not solve the problem, open the settings of your Android phone and select Network & Internet (also called Mobile Networks or Wireless & Networks). Under Cellular networks tap on the point Cellular provider and start a manual network search. Then select your network from the list.
- If your smartphone still does not dial into the network, you should inform the support center of your mobile service provider about the problem so that the network operator can help you.
In an emergency: cell phone exchange
If the connection problems persist and occur everywhere, the problem can also be in your smartphone. The built-in antenna is often broken or there are other hardware defects.
- In this case, only exchanging or buying a new cell phone will help. But that doesn't have to be expensive: You can get powerful smartphones with the latest Android version and good features for less than 100 euros.
