Nidhogg: The best tips & tricks
The exciting multiplayer classic "Nidhogg" is less about luck than skill. Our tips will give you a big advantage over your opponent.
6 tips and tricks for Nidhogg
- If you are in defense, you should always have your sword at Nidhogg as far as possible on the ground. As a result, your opponent cannot roll through you and you can continue to stab.
- If you are behind your opponent, you should run out of the picture as quickly as possible to spawn again. If you still have your weight, always throw it at the opponent.
- After you have spawned again, take a strategically good position, even if you give the opponent a few meters. Elevated positions or in door frames are particularly suitable.
- In a direct duel, you can make targeted jumps in the vicinity of your opponent to throw the sword away prematurely. After that, however, you shouldn't kill it, just run, otherwise your opponent will reappear faster.
- If you run towards your opponent, jump off him briefly and go straight into a role. In most cases, your opponent will raise your sword, clearing the way for you.
- The most helpful tip in general, however, is not to play too aggressively. Before you strike with your sword, you should be sure that you can land a hit.
