Nikon camera: focus manually - how it works
This practical tip shows you how to focus manually with a Nikon camera.
Nikon camera: focus manually
This practical tip refers to the Nikon P510. You can quickly program the manual focus in the settings.
- Press the "Menu" button and go to the "Tool" tab.
- Select the "Side zoom switch" item and set it to "MF".
- Now the side zoom switch serves as manual focus. But this only applies to one recording. So you have to make this setting again before each recording.
In order to use the autofocus system of a DSLR camera such as the Nikon D7000 or Canon EOS 7D optimally, you should use the different AF points.
