Nintendo 2DS / 3DS: delete games - how it works
You can download games to your 3DS via Nintendo eShop. As soon as the storage space runs out, you have to delete games again. In this article, we explain how to do this and how to find out the memory requirements of a game.
Nintendo 2DS / 3DS: delete games from SD card
You can delete installed games and apps via the data management on your 3DS. The number of blocks stands for the required storage space of the program. One block corresponds to 128 KB.
- Start your Nintendo 3DS and open the "System Preferences".
- Tap the "Data management" button here.
- If you want to remove a normal 3DS game, select "Nintendo 3DS". For older eShop games, tap on "DSi-Ware".
- Then select the "Software" entry and wait for all installed games to load.
- Finally, tap on the game you want and select "Delete".
If you want to remove all games and data at once, you can also format your memory card.
