Nintendo Switch: guarantee for buyers
The Nintendo Switch is struggling with some issues, so many buyers are under the warranty. We'll show you how long the warranty lasts and how you can send your device to Nintendo for repair.
Nintendo Switch: This is how long the guarantee applies to buyers
- The Nintendo Switch, like many other technical devices, is not perfect. Some consoles bend in the hands of the players, others complain of scratched screens and dead pixels in the display.
- Nintendo gives the Switch the usual 12-month manufacturer's warranty. During this period, all material and processing errors will be rectified free of charge.
- When such an error occurs, it must always be clarified in each individual case. Since many consoles are struggling with dead pixels, Nintendo has already argued that this is not a warranty case, as this is a common wear and tear on LCD displays.
- If Nintendo does not classify your request as a warranty case, you can still try to process your warranty through the dealer from whom you bought the Switch. Describe your problem there as well.
Use the Nintendo Switch warranty
