- You can set up to eight different profiles for the Nintendo Switch, all of which can be linked to an individual Nintendo Network ID.
- Additional accounts are suitable if your friends and family members also want to play and want to save their progress on their own account.
- You can also create additional profiles for yourself, for example, to link them with user IDs for Japan or the USA. This gives you access to the eShops of the respective countries. The offer can differ there.
- Open the user menu in the system settings to connect your profile to a Nintendo account.

- To create new accounts, go to the system settings on the start screen.
- Scroll down to the "User" menu item to get an overview of your previous profiles.
- There you can create another profile via "Add new user".
- You then have the option of creating a picture for the account and defining a name.
- Simply repeat these steps to create multiple accounts. You can also delete users in the user settings for the individual profiles.
