Nintendo Switch: activate multiplayer mode - how it works

- You can play with up to four players at the same time on the Nintendo Switch. Simply start the desired game and select the multiplayer mode.
- Now you have to connect all controllers to the switch. Remove the already connected controllers from the console and connect the two new controllers to the switch. Alternatively, you can press and hold the button in the recess of the controller until the LED lights up green.
- Now all four controllers are connected to the switch and can be divided among the players. Alternatively, you can also use both controllers in one Joy Con holder.
- In the multiplayer mode of the game you will be asked whether you are playing with a single controller or the Joy Con bracket. Accordingly, you need to set the controllers in the game.
Nintendo Switch: Selection of games with multiplayer mode
Numerous games for the Nintendo Switch come with a multiplayer mode. In addition to the local multiplayer, there is often an online multiplayer. Depending on the game, you not only compete against each other, but can also play together in a team.
- The classics include Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Super Bomberman R. In local multiplayer, every player manages with just one controller.
- At Puyo Puyo Tetris you can compete against your friends in the classic game. 1-2-Switch combines numerous fun party games in one bundle.
- With ARMS you can prove yourself in digital boxing. For this, however, each player needs two controllers.
- Snipper clips should strengthen the Tamgeist. With up to four friends, you will work together to solve tricky puzzles.
- Other multiplayer titles include FIFA 18, NBA 2K18, Rayman Legends, LEGO City Undercover and Ultra Street Fighter 2.
