Since E3 2014, numerous fans of space, exploration and survival games have been waiting for the release of No Man's Sky. Despite the shift, the date is now fixed.
- No Man's Sky will be released in Europe on August 10, 2016, North America will be allowed to explore the SciFi universe from August 9, while Great Britain will have to wait until August 12.
- The game release was originally scheduled for June 2016. However, the development team wanted to work on some details a little longer.
- No Man's Sky has only been released for Microsoft Windows and PlayStation 4 so far. There is no information on any Xbox One plans yet.
