Nokia Lumia 920 or 925? - The differences
In this practical tip, we show you the main differences between the Windows phones Nokia Lumia 920 and 925.
The hardware: Lumia 920 vs. 925
The devices already differ optically: The unibody housing of the Lumia 920 has a slightly rounded back and is therefore easy to hold. Both come with a 4.5 inch display, but the Lumia 925 looks a bit more compact. This is partly due to the housing.
- The Lumia 920 is available in black, white, gray, yellow or red - there is something for every taste. The 925 is only available in a noble aluminum style.
- The batteries of both smartphones are permanently installed and have an output of 2, 000 mAh.
- The Lumia 920's IPS ClearBlack display has a resolution of 768x1280 pixels. That can keep up with 925, but on an AMOLED ClearBlack display. Both therefore have an HD screen.
- The Lumia 920 comes with 32 GB of memory. With the Lumia 925 you only get the 32 GB version from Vodafone. Otherwise, the Windows Phone is only available with 16 GB.
- Nothing has changed in the rest of the hardware: Both smartphones use a dual-core processor with 1.5 GHz and 1 GB of RAM.
The camera from the Lumia 920 and 925
The Lumia series impressed from the start with the very good camera. And that's what the photo smartphones have:
- Both devices are equipped with an 8 megapixel camera and lenses from Carl Zeiss. The Lumia 920 has five and the 925 six lenses.
- Both Windows Phones have the PureView camera technology on board. The image stabilization technology "floating lens technology" ensures sharp photos. The images also become brighter than with cameras from other smartphones.
- The Lumia 920 has only one photo light. The 925, however, has a real flash. As a result, the photos from the Lumia 925 are even better in bad light than those from the 920. The photos become brighter and have less noise in the picture.
