Notepad ++: How to edit files directly on the FTP server
- First download the plugin here. Unzip the directory on the desktop.
- Move the two DLL files from the folders into the "Plugin" folder, which you can find in the program folder of Notepad ++.
- Now start the program and click on "Extensions"> "NppFTP". Then select "Show NppFTP Window".
- To make a new connection, click the gear in the top right. Then click on "Add new" and enter the connection information there.
- To establish a connection, you simply have to click on the left icon and select the profile you have just created.
